Built for Australian electrical websites

Electrical tools that turn website visitors into qualified enquiries

Give customers a useful answer before they call. AIECOM Solutions designs simple, configurable energy calculators that answer a real cost question in under a minute — using the visitor’s own electricity rate, not a guess.

  • Reusable
  • Lead-ready
  • Australian context
  • Built into your website

A useful tool should improve the enquiry, not just add another form.

Visitor gets clarity

They leave with a useful answer instead of another unanswered question.

Your team receives useful context

The enquiry arrives with the details needed to respond well the first time.

The right next step is clear

Call, book an assessment, request a quote or discuss an ongoing plan.

Three cost questions your customers are already asking

Every one of these tools answers a question an electrical customer types into a search bar before they ring anyone. Each is arithmetic on figures the visitor supplies from their own bill, their own globes and their own vehicle — so the answer is theirs, and the next step is you.

The tools below are configurable components shown with sample settings. They demonstrate what your website could offer your customers. Nothing here assesses wiring, switchboards or compliance — only a licensed electrician inspecting a property can do that.

Estimate What It Costs to Run

Let visitors enter an appliance’s power rating, how often they use it and their own electricity rate to see indicative monthly and annual running costs.

See What an LED Upgrade Could Save

Both wattages are printed on the globes, so nothing is assumed. Compare what is installed now against a replacement and show the yearly energy and dollar difference.

Work Out Your Home Charging Cost

A high-intent visitor with a car on order wants one number: what will charging cost? Battery size and their own rate are all this needs — no installation questions.

What your business receives

An EV owner identified before they ring three other electricians

One component system. Three electrical journeys.

A running-cost estimator, a lighting comparison and an EV charging calculator should feel like part of the same website. We use shared fields, result panels, accessibility patterns, lead capture and analytics events so every new tool is faster to launch and easier for visitors to use.

Shared form flow

One accessible multi-step pattern behind every tool, so each new tool feels familiar.

Result panel

Plain-language results with the assumptions shown, never a bare number.

Disclaimer

Context-specific wording that keeps an estimate an estimate.

Lead capture

Offered after the visitor has received value, never before.

CRM handoff

Tool context travels with the enquiry into your existing process.

Analytics

Neutral events through your existing tracking, with no personal data attached.

Configured for the way your electrical business actually operates

Your service areas, preferred jobs and lead-routing rules are different from the next contractor’s. The tools should reflect those realities. Configure what the visitor sees, what information is captured and where the completed enquiry goes—without rebuilding the interface every time.

Service areas

Your postcodes, ranges and zones — standard, extended or partner-serviced.

Priority services

Feature the work you actually want more of, not a generic service list.

Lead routing

Send each completed tool result to the right inbox, form or workflow.

Your wording, your limits

Result copy, disclaimers and every message a visitor sees stay under your review.

Designed to work with your lead process.

Pass a visitor’s tool result into your existing enquiry form, CRM, job-management workflow or email sequence. No useful information should disappear when the customer clicks “submit”.

Common questions

Can these tools tell me whether my electrical work is safe or compliant?
No. Nothing on this page assesses wiring, switchboards, safety switches or compliance, and nothing here should ever be read as approval to proceed with work. Only a licensed electrician inspecting the property can tell you its condition or what it needs. These are cost calculators.
Why is there no switchboard or EV installation checker?
Because those questions need answers an ordinary visitor does not have — the phase of their supply, their board’s spare capacity, the cable run to the car space — and getting them wrong has real consequences. We would rather ship three tools that are certainly useful than five where two quietly guess.
Where do the numbers in a result come from?
From the visitor. Every calculation uses the electricity rate, wattages and usage they enter themselves, and the formula is shown alongside the result. No national average tariff is ever prefilled.
Can the tools use our own branding and enquiry process?
Yes. Result messages, CTA labels, tone and where a completed result is sent are configuration, not code. The same components run with your values instead of ours.
Can we start with one tool and add more later?
Yes, and we recommend it. Every tool shares the same form flow, result panel and accessibility patterns, so adding the second is considerably faster than the first.
